First Virginia participated in the Hanover County Parks & Recreation History & Hops event along with local chapter of the Daughters of American Revolution (DAR), Preventation Virginia/Scotchtown and other Hanover County based organizations.

Hosted and supervised by our most able Artillery Sjts Sam N. and Scott J., Cpl Mike symbolically christens our revamped cannon at Mount Vernon on Saturday, 6 May 2023. First shot fired by our youngest Artillerist Adian M.

Members Mike Gotard and Jack Schneider made the trek out to Old Fort, Ohio to pick up our 3lb grasshopper cannon from Gilmore Ordnance. Next step to finish the iron work and paint!
